This ambient lighting was developed at an artist residency with an outdoor woodshop. Through experimentation, crown molding was sanded till it was paper-thin, and an accidental nick in the wood created a cloud-like shape. That shape, combined with a warm, sunny day lighting up the center inspired this wall lamp.
